After years of faithful service, my domain name anvilgear.com is going away today. I first registered the name about 10 years ago when I had a wild dream of starting a backpacking equipment company. It never got past the dream phase, and I have since registered the more appropriate cotting.us domain name.

Begin cynic rant. What I’m going to say is going to make some people angry. Today, Americans get to participate in the illusion of choice. Choice that voting for one person over the other is going to allow their belief of what they want their government to look like be represented by a politician.
