Cody is getting indoctrinated early. Thanks to Tracy Harris Photography.
Updates from a stay at home dad, part time church employee, retired EMT, and student of defense.
Thought some of you would want an update. Today is Cody’s due date, but he is still cooking. We’ll let you know when he makes his arrival.
Great Reminder
Great story. Funny but sad. Even worse than when the ED likes to play “How low can you go” when you bring in a respiratory distress patient that you didn’t get a room air sat on after fighting to get up to 90%

Well the 2014 Christmas season has come to an official close here at the Cotting home. Wendy took down the indoor decorations and I finished getting all the outdoor decorations and lights I could get to until the snow melts.
Tonight I made someone really happy.
My parents held on to mine and my brother’s GI Joe toys from our childhood. I had dreamed of having a room in a house that would let me display all my Joes, but I don’t see that ever happening. This wasn’t just a small handful of GI Joe toys. My brother and I worked hard to collect most of the toys over several of the years with the intention of playing with them, not collecting them. We are talking about 200 pieces in the collection. I don’t have the stomach to watch my future son destroy them by giving them to him. They have been sitting in storage for a long time now. My next plan was to start putting them up on Ebay, but it was going to be a lot more trouble that I was willing to put into it.
I met a guy at church who is a big collector of GI Joe. He came over to the house tonight and was super excited about my collection. He was willing to take all of it so I sold it to him for some cash and some ammo.
I’m mainly glad to give my old collection to someone who will appreciate it. I didn’t want to just throw it in the trash. It makes me feel good to know that I could give this someone who would be able to give my collection the TLC that it deserved.
