Ramsey went fishing up the valley, and once again, we set a rendezvous. We parted ways as Chris and I continued up the trail.
The scenery was really pretty. I liked this picture I took of a talus field that came down to the edge of the trail.
The trail continued along the river as we hiked. There were meadows mixed with aspens, conifers, and other evergreens along the way. It was an easy hike that followed the grade of the river.
Chris and I stopped at a little campsite used by horsepackers as our turn around point. We ate lunch by the river and just enjoyed relaxing for a little while.
I tried getting creative and took some closeup photos of the water flowing over the rocks. Didn’t quite get what I wanted.
