We turned around and hiked back to where we were to meet Ramsey. I took this picture of Chris as we were leaving the Weminuche Wilderness Area.
We met up with Ramsey. He didn’t catch anything big enough to keep, but commented on how it should be criminal to be able to fish in such an easy place. He is used to fishing the creeks in the Smokies where it can be much more challenging. I think we all just enjoyed getting to be in the mountains again for a little while. On the way out, we found this sign at the trialhead. Ramsey wanted his picture taken with it.
Also on the way out, a FedEX truck could be seen driving into the property and then leaving. That would be a killer route to have.
That night the sunset from camp was really pretty
For supper that night, Chris cooked his salmon pasta. It was very tasty.
