We got back to Denver by lunch time, and headed for Men’s Wearhouse to pickup our tuxes. Wendy had arrived the day before and stayed with a friend of her’s from college. She met up with us at the Men’s Wearhouse to make sure the tuxes were right. Everything was good except for my shirt. I can never get a shirt with sleeves that are long enough, but they assured me they would get one in by the next day. This was Friday and the wedding was Sunday. The four of us went to a deli for lunch nearby. I then dropped off Chris and Ramsey at their hotel. Chris had to get cleaned up and go to the airport to pick up his wife Lisa. My parents were going to drive him out there. Wendy had errands to run and I needed to pack up and clean up. It was beginning to sink in now that my life as bachelor was coming to an end. That evening, I picked up Ramsey and headed off to Evergreen. Wendy’s parents, Tim and Susan, were throwing a pizza party. Several members of Susan’s family made the trip and were staying at a big house they were all renting up in Evergreen. It was right next to the site for the wedding. The rest of the wedding party and some friends of ours showed up. It was good to get to visit with folks. This was the first time my parents, Mac and Jeanne, got to meet Wendy’s parents. This was also the first time that I got to meet some of Wendy’s family on her mom’s side.
